Welcome Author K. E. Osborn and Giveaways!

Let's welcome Adelaide based author K. E. Osborn. Over to her for now...

I was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, and growing up I had a complete love for all animals. My first pet was a cat called tuppence, and I remember I used to try and dress her up in my doll's clothes; she wasn't very happy about that!  I had a love of writing throughout High School, but went down a different path choosing Graphic Design instead. It wasn't until I had a vivid dream, about a three car pile up, that the characters of my first book came to life. I can't say there was really anything that inspired me to become a writer, other my vivid dream. It all started from there. I just had to get it down on paper, and once I had it written, I kept writing. That dream has developed into a trilogy.
I chose to write a romance because that is what I read, and what interests me. I really fell in love with the genre after reading the fifty shades series. It kind of brought me back to the world of books. It's funny how things work out. In primary school I hated reading and I would kick up a big fuss when forced to read something for school. Now I love reading, and writing especially. It takes you into a fantasy world where anything is possible, and I like to think there's always the perfect male for me in my fictional world.

Trust Me? The Trust Me? Trilogy's name, was formed from the main character, Jeni, and her story line. She was in a very bad relationship, and her father remained absent from the time she was born. Her trust issues with men are valid, but not necessarily, the best way for her to be moving forward with her life. I drew this inspiration from my own life. I know how Jeni feels about her trust issues. Luckily, Jeni, is able to work through her issues, when she finds the love of Aiden O'Connell.

I think most women can relate to having trust issues. I think that's why Trust Me? The Trust Me? Trilogy will appeal to many women, because they have probably had the same issues at some stage during their life. If not, then it's good to see how someone reacts to the turmoil and stress, that comes with not trusting someone you love. I sincerely hope that you enjoy reading Trust Me? The Trust Me? Trilogy, and you fall in love with Aiden and Jeni as much as I have.

Much love,
K E Osborn xoxo

    1. Hi Wendy,
I think most women identify with trust issues. Jeni doesn't notice how handsome Aiden is, when he runs his Aston Martin into the back of her car. Aiden likes her feistiness, and pursues her after the accident. Her trust issues come from a previous boyfriend, and her absent father. From there the trilogy was born. Aiden and Jeni are taken on a journey, forcing her trust issues to spark as they fall in love. I hope you enjoy my book.

    1. Hi Tammy,
Thank you so much for your awesomesauce comment, it was only recently that one of my very close UK friends mentioned this to me. I had to ask her what it meant, being Australian and all. Us Aussies use lots of slang, but that word was a new one for me!

I hope you get a chance to read my book, and I look forward to any comments or reviews that you may have about my it.

  8. Hi Shelley,
Dreams are a funny thing, they can be good/great or really bad, in this case it was a great dream, and I had to get up in the middle of the night to write it down on paper, so in the morning I didn't forget. That's how this trilogy was born.

It's great to meet you too, and I really hope you get to read my book.

    Much Love,

  9. "Trust me," are two words I never believe!

    1. Hi Sherry,
I agree, the words trust me, can have serious connotations. In Trust Me? the main heroine has serious trust issues, and she tries hard to overcome them as the story unfolds. I've never been one to say the words "trust me" to anyone as they generally mean the person saying them can't be trusted. I hope you enjoy my book.

  11. Hi Jess,
Adelaide, is a smaller city in the state of South Australia. Unlike Sydney or Melbourne, Adelaide is quieter and picturesque.

My dreams certainly seem to be an inspiration for my books. They are usually very vivid, and once I wake I need to get up and write down my thoughts.

I hope you enjoy my book.

    Much Love,

    1. Hi Medeia,
I am pleased to meet you too :0)
It is realistic, the main character Jeni, is loosely based on myself and my trust issues with men. So I can see how others would relate to her as well :0)
I hope you enjoy my book :0)
