Let's find out about Emmie's debut, Cassie's grand Plan...
CASSIE'S GRAND PLAN
BACK BLURB
Four steps to a brand-new life
Then Ronan McGuire shows up. The too-sexy, too-polished business consultant has the power to derail Cassie’s plans before she’s even really started. If he doesn’t approve her promotion, she’ll be back to square one—and that’s not an option. Cassie needs to keep her focus on that first step, no matter how much Ronan tempts her to skip ahead to the third and fourth ones….
Wow! Sounds interesting? See what I felt here!

Emmie’s overnight success has taken about five years to achieve. She began fiddling around with story ideas when the urge to write fiction became overwhelming. In July 2011 she sold her first book to Harlequin SuperRomance and she’s not looking back, with her second sale in September. Both books will be out in 2012.
Emmie lives in Melbourne, Australia, and she likes red lipstick, chardonnay, sunshine, driving fast, rose-scented soap and a really good cup of tea. Like, a really good cup of tea. She’s particularly fussy about it, and has been known to pack her own teabags when she travels. Most members of her family are too scared to make her a cuppa, in case they get it wrong.
So all my friends are invited! But be aware that we'll be putting colored chalk powder on you! There'll be lot of singing and dancing!

ReplyDeleteHi Nas and Emmie,
ReplyDeleteI'm one of the lucky ones, I've already read Cassie's Grand Plan and I LOVED it.
I loved the developing romance between Cassie and Ronan, and how their troubled 'baggage' got in the way. That baggage, of course, kept turning up, piece by piece, rather than a whole lifetime's worth in one hit.
And when things went wrong, oh how my heart ached to see them back together. Obviously, this being a Proper Romance, I knew they would - but it was the 'how' that put a huge smile on my face.
That's why I love romances. Yes, the ending is a given, but how they get there is so entertaining.
Thanks Emmie for a wonderful read.
Aw, I used to celebrate Holi in med school. It was such a great stress reliever to throw all that color!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, Emmie. Your book sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holi, Nas!
Lovely to come in here and see a Holi party going on. We're catching the Holi fire nicely in north India where I live. Emmie, I'd love to put some red colour on you to wish you lots of luck with your new book.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to celebrate Holi and a book launch at the same time, Nas!
