Kelly Steel was born and brought up in the South Island of New Zealand. After her father’s retirement, her parents moved to warm and tropical Fiji, where she continues to reside.   She loves her adopted home and thrives in the warm friendly environment, both of the climate and of the people.

Who is Kelly Steel?

A mother, wife, friend and a passionate reader. I read all genres.  

What inspired you to be a writer?

I liked escaping in books since childhood and had very vivid imagination so it naturally led me to telling stories.

How did you chose your genre?

The genre chose me! But I love happy ever afters, so don't be surprised if I come back with a contemporary romance!

What made you tell this story and why did you write this book?

I had a story to tell so I did.

How did you come up with the title?

It just came to me after completing the story, then I had a brainstorming session with my editor and she agreed that this title fit the story.
