As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
This! Well, I found romance when I was about twelve and very quickly began to wonder how one got a job like this.
What is your favorite part of being a writer?
So many things like working from home and being my own boss. I love writing Presents for the research into exotic locations and gorgeous clothes and jewelry. There are a million things in this world I would love to try (or not!) but I don’t have to devote weeks or years into becoming those things like a skydiver or an astrophysicist. I can imagine what it’s like to be or do those things when I write. I can be and do anything.
Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?
I’m not on social media much, but I do hear from fans through my website email. I’m always touched that they went to the trouble to write and they’re invariably very kind. Usually they’re asking about a specific book, or whether related characters might get a book. I love hearing from readers! Please write to me anytime ☺
How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
Officially, I’ve published ninety books (!) Two of those were anthologies of short stories so if you count each of those, it’s more like 110 published stories, which utterly boggles my mind.
I have different favorites for different reasons. Sometimes it’s sentimental, like my first sale (No Longer Forbidden.) Or it was a rejected manuscript that I went on to sell anyway (Consequence of His Revenge.) I love Awakened on Her Royal Wedding Night for its dramatic opening and the duel at the end. I loved the anguish in Innocent in Her Enemy’s Bed and I adore the relationship between Micah and Quinn in A Convenient Ring to Claim Her. I love power couples like Sasha and Raphael in The Secret of Their Billion-dollar Baby (look for their cameo in Maid to Marry) and Evie and Dom in Marrying the Enemy.
I would say a recent favorite would be The Greek’s Wife Returns, which comes out in July. Carmel is a very cheeky heroine trying to get a divorce from Damian, who is rightfully furious with her. Their story is full of sparks and sweetness and redemption. (You’ll meet Carmel at her worst in Maid to Marry. Trust me, she’s wonderful under all that woe.)

How to avoid scandal?
Marry the Greek!
An illicit kiss with Atlas Voudouris got chalet maid Stella Sutter fired. When she bumps into him five years later, she’s still furious! Except as she accuses him of ruining her life, long-dormant desires come alive…
Atlas is about to announce the convenient wedding that will secure his inheritance. However, once paparazzi photos of his and Stella’s heated encounter go public, Atlas is left short a bride. The only answer?
Make Stella his wife! But are his diamond and their dangerous passion enough to bridge the gap between their very different worlds?
What a fun concept! Hah! Might have to add that one to my list.
