Kamy Chetty Under The Spotlight and Giveaway!

We have South African born, New Zealand author Kamy Chetty and she brought a gift for you!

Kamy Chetty around the web:

Over to Kamy Chetty now...

Who is Kamy Chetty?

I am a nurse who has been hiding characters in my mind all my life. I only bring them out to play when no one’s looking and after years trying to convince myself and others it’s normal, I work under the guise of being published so that nobody can bother me with a straight jacket or white coat.

What inspired you to be a writer?

I’d like to say gift of the gab but it was my love for reading. I’d read anything and everything. I wrote my first poem in primary school, my first short story, and if I remember correctly it was a love story in middle school.

I used to read Mills and Boon books during my English lessons instead of reading Shakespeare- so I was a rebel in love with love.

How did you chose your genre?

I didn’t choose my genre- it chose me. They say- write what you know. I am a nurse and I know medical. Falling into Paradise started as a medical. I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I am also addicted to every cop show around. CSI,NCIS, Justified- and whatever else you can find like Bones, anything with suspense or involves solving cases, I’ll watch it. I am always trying to guess the bad guy. Long story short, while writing this book,  add some unresolved angst, my obsession for suspense and the medical I started ended up being something different. But I had so much fun writing it.

What made you tell this story and why did you write this book?

I fell in love with Damon from the moment I met him. A bad boy who had his heart broken, I couldn’t resist him. Finding Sophie, the perfect woman for him, how could I not write this story?

How did you come up with the title?

My editor helped me with it. The story is set in Paradise Falls, so Falling into Paradise seemed appropriate for a playboy who vowed never to fall in love and a doctor who never knew how to love, Paradise gave them each a second chance.

Falling Into Paradise

Blurb

A woman too afraid to commit. A man too hurt to love again. A passion that refuses to be denied.

Sophie Redmond knew betrayal, she knew mistrust. She knew everything that was wrong with the world, until Damon Watson charmed his way into her life.

The rules she used to shield her heart were broken one by one, as Damon showed her compassion and kindness.
When no one else believes in her, he shows her hope. But is hope ever enough?

Damon knew trouble when he saw it. He was the sheriff. He could spot it a mile away and Sophie was trouble with a capital T. What was it about this City Slicker doctor that made him want to forget everything but those whiskey brown eyes and that honey blonde hair spilled against his naked chest.

Can Damon put the past behind him and choose to love again?
