I’d like to introduce you all to Sawyer.  Yes, I know he was Sawyer in Lost, but he’s also my Sawyer in my latest Harlequin Medical The Maverick Doctor and Miss Prim.  Meet Matt Sawyer.  A definite bad boy with a good heart.  Hands up who’d like to be quarantined with him?  Because that’s what happens in my story.  The out-of-her-depth heroine ends up quarantined with the bad boy during a potentially life-threatening outbreak.

The good thing about Harlequin medicals is they have the potential to cover just about every scenario you can imagine.  Do you know that the Center for Disease Control in the US has a 300 page plan on its website for a potential Smallpox outbreak – a disease that’s apparently eradicated?

And now let me introduce you to my second hero.  You may think this is Chris Pine, Star Trek Captain extraordinaire.  You’d be wrong.  This is Evan, star of my second book About That Night… where he finds himself in Africa trying to help eradicate polio with my lovely heroine Violet.  Close proximity, difficult working conditions and claustrophobic heat lead to some interesting times for these two.  Particularly when they don’t like each much – even though they’ve shared a kiss.
