Over to Nicole now as she answers questions...

Who is Nicole Flockton?

I have no idea! LOL Some days I’m a book keeper for a Financial Planning Practice in Australia. Other days I’m an author. Most of the time I’m a mum and wife and trying to hang onto my sanity!

What inspired you to be a writer?

I read a huge amount of M&B books and thought maybe one day I’d write one. I have a few starts on my computer. But after my princess was born and I contributed to some community forum writing round robins, I decided to take the plunge. So here I am today with 2 books published and another one coming.

How did you chose your genre?

I wrote what I read. So modern, contemporary stories with brooding heroes and feisty heroines. I’m to lazy to do the research for historical, if I can’t find it on Wikipedia in the first paragraph, then I give up LOL. Same goes for world building.
What made you tell this story and why did you write this book?

I was hit with the picture of a woman standing in a room full of people, but all alone. So I wanted to know why she looked the way she did and what had caused her this feeling of loneliness. Plus I love reunion stories.
How did you come up with the title?

Well this book has had many, and I mean many, titles from start to publication. Her Forgotten Marriage, Her Forgotten Husband, The Tycoon’s Marriage Revenge. Then after chatting to you, my fabulous editor, we came up with the idea of incorporating the main theme of the story – her wedding rings and “Bound by Her Ring” was born.

    1. Hi Denise, I recently went to a talk about a lady who writes historical novels. She researches the book for six months. She is so in depth but she comes across some amazing stuff as she researches. I was in awe of her process! And I felt a little inadequate LOL
